Bitcoin ATM without permanent location?

I've been looking at these Bittellers and quite frankly I want one. I've been in the vending machine business for so long and the vending machines that cost $3 per transaction are the holy grails that people buy when they "make it" absolute freaking gold mines. $3 per transaction is nice, but what's nicer is charging people a percentage of the entire withdraw and them actually paying it! (bitcoin atm)

So here's my question; how would one of these do at a flea market or something owner attended like that? I don't trust something the size of a toaster that costs $600 and has 2k worth of bitcoin in it to not sprout legs. Just personal experience as to unattended things sprouting legs.
I've seen these things at flea markets on the Bitcoin ATM locator, but I'm wondering if the locator is the driving force behind sales or if people are willing to walk by and either add Bitcoin to their existing wallet or try it out because they've heard of it.
Also, the average fee for these things is 6.8% WHY WHY WHY are people actually paying that? The only thing I can think of is the tor users who don't want their id attached to anything.

NPR parroting FDA fearmongering

Copy and pasted to remove a vendor reference. Not terrible article, but they're still parroting the lies. It's pretty disingenuous to offer up the story of one kid that clearly had major substance abuse problems as the "other side".
Side comment / vent -- I feel censoring regular mainstream news stories just because it breaks the no vendor rule is nuts. If anything the story should be allowed but comments locked.

The Kratom Debate: Helpful Herb Or Dangerous Drug?

Americans know the dangers of drugs such as morphine and heroin. But what about a supplement that acts in the brain a bit like an opiate and is available in many places to kids — even from vending machines.

Kratom, an herb that's abundant, legal in most states and potentially dangerous, is the subject of an ongoing debate over its risks and benefits.

Usually, the leaf, which comes from a tropical Southeast Asian tree, is chewed, brewed or crushed into a bitter green powder. The chemicals in the herb interact with different types of receptors in the brain — some that respond to opioids, and others to stimulants. Often sold in the U.S. in a processed form — as pills, capsules or extracts — a small amount of kratom can perk you up, while a large dose has a sedative effect.

Some people who have struggled with an opioid addiction and switched to kratom swear the substance salvaged their health, livelihood and relationships.

But the federal Food and Drug Administration and the Drug Enforcement Administration worry that kratom carries the risk of physical and psychological dependency and, in some people, addiction. The FDA warns consumers not to use kratom, and the DEA threatened to prohibit kratom's sale and use in the U.S. (outside of research) in 2016; advocates and lawmakers subsequently pushed back, and the stricter scheduling of kratom that would have prompted that sort of ban never occurred. These days, the DEA lists it as a drug of concern.

Linda Kline, 33, based in Reno, Nev., sells kratom for a living. She says her several stores throughout the West have given her a new purpose in life. And while she herself doesn't have an opioid dependency, she credits kratom with turning around her mental health.

"I went from feeling desperate and hopeless to finding an alternative where I had full control over how I felt," she says.

She used to be paralyzed by anxiety and panic attacks. When her insurance carrier threatened to cut her Prozac prescription, she felt desperate. A friend suggested kratom, so she picked some up at a smoke shop.

"It almost feels like you're having just a little glass of wine," Kline says. "It's really relaxing. There's no melting of the walls."

The new habit cost about $6 a day — less than a glass of wine or fancy cup of coffee. But Kline says she couldn't always find a high-quality supply. The FDA has recalled dozens of salmonella-tainted products sold online or in convenience stores. The agency has also found toxic heavy metals in kratom supplements.

That's one reason Kline started her own chic boutiques, \redacted*, devoted exclusively to kratom products that, she says, are all lab tested to ensure purity. She just opened her fifth location in less than two years. The shops offer 15 kratom strains at outlets in California, Idaho and Nevada.*

Though Kline's website has a disclaimer that her products have not been evaluated by the FDA and "are not intended to cure, treat or prevent any disease/illness," some of her clients' online Yelp reviews claim kratom has dramatically relieved their chronic pain, insomnia, restless legs syndrome and more.

Potential dangers

Glowing reviews like that haunt Mateo Martinez.

"My brother believed the marketing of kratom — that it was a natural herbal supplement that could provide you with the same benefits of an opioid without the risks," Mateo says.

Mateo's younger brother, Marco, struggled with an opioid addiction in high school. Mateo describes Marco as a charismatic, creative teen, passionate about video games, cartoons and anime. Marco got hooked on painkillers, Mateo says, after his dentist pulled his wisdom teeth.

"He was using them in a way that wasn't just for treating pain," Mateo says.

Email receipts show Marco used bitcoin to also buy Vicodin and fentanyl on the dark web.

Eventually Marco wanted to kick his opioid addiction and saw testimonials on YouTube and Reddit that promised that kratom could be a way out. Soon Marco was popping kratom capsules multiple times a day.

During his freshman year at the University of California, Davis, the 19-year-old started hyperventilating regularly. The incidents worsened, becoming seizure-like episodes and ending in trips to the emergency room. During each hospitalization, the doctors were stumped. No one thought to test for kratom.

Marco died in his UC Davis dorm in February 2018, late on a Sunday night. The toxicology report listed "acute mitragynine intoxication" — a chemical constituent of kratom — as the cause of death.

"I think kratom needs to come with a much more serious caution that it is not harmless," Mateo says. "I'm very heartbroken."

In a recent 18-month period, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 90 kratom overdoses, although most involved a combination of other substances too.

Slim science, so far

"The data to support either the benefits or the harms for kratom is really, really poor," says C. Michael White, head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Connecticut. "A lot of the information we have comes from single-case reports."

White says that animal studies suggest kratom could be an effective pain reliever, but the collection of human data has only just begun. McClain Haddow, spokesperson for the American Kratom Association, agrees that the product should be sold only to people over age 18.

"We would like vendors to register their product with the FDA and get a chemical analysis from a certified lab to insure the only ingredient is the naturally occurring alkaloid in the kratom plant," Haddow says. "Some manufacturers are spiking products with fentanyl, heroin or morphine to give users a high."

Dr. Scott Steiger, deputy medical director of the opiate treatment outpatient program at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, says he doesn't know how to advise patients who want to use kratom.

"I tell them I just don't know enough on the basis of science to tell them whether it's a great idea or not," says Steiger, who is also an associate clinical professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.

The DEA describes kratom as an addictive substance that causes hallucinations, delusion and confusion.

"I have seen that people who use kratom end up having a very hard time stopping the use of it," says Steiger.

His patients report withdrawal symptoms such as nausea, sweats, aches and pains, loose stool, tearing and dysphoria. There is growing concern about kratom's effects on the heart and liver.

Steiger emphasizes that doctors have evidence-based treatments like buprenorphine and methadone to help people with an opioid addiction. He doesn't recommend self-medicating with kratom until more research is available.

"We just don't know enough about this chemical and the long-term use of it to know whether experimenting would lead to complications," Steiger says.

Freedom Dividend and Housing - Business Idea?

So... one of the attacks that is often launched against the FD is the idea that rent would go up by $1,000. Obviously, this is wrong for many reasons the Yang Gang has discussed. I just wonder if there could possibly another argument and business idea stemming to fight this?
Personally, I wonder if it would be possibly to setup a freedom dividend basic needs housing. For this, I am picturing living units that would provide basic needs, in exchange for the freedom dividend? What do I mean by this? I am definitely not an evil guy and would actually say this would combat the idea of a landlord jacking up rent, this would be housing that is not a non-profit but a business that would hopefully generate a steady income and put humanity first.
Ideally, these units would be structured as livable apartment complexes that feature 1,2,3 and 4 bedrooms. Each bedroom must be accompanied by another 18 year old+ adult and adds $1K in cost. Kids would coast an extra $200-$500 With this, utilities and 2 basic meals per day would be covered; hopefully with features built in, so subletting isn't possible, a person can't take advantage of included utilities and mine bitcoin all day, etc. I envision automation dispensing pre-packaged, low cost ($2-$3), nutritionally healthy meals for people to use their monthly credits on. I say 2 meals per day, since this would not be meant to completely provide for people and make them solely dependent on the FD. This would still require people to work to fulfill other needs/wants. I picture the meal system as a set of vending machines that heat pre-packed breakfast, lunch or dinner packs. People would use NFC cards/app to choose their meals. Obviously this would include a lot more work than it seems and thought, but it would be interesting to give people that food/housing foundation in exchange for the FD. This would not be meant to take people's FD but provide fair basic needs. Obviously this pricing be adjusted with the udnerstanding that people would receive the FD. So, if a place has houses for sale for $50K, you'd want to lower the amount of the FD that's taken or provide more amenities like a doorman (or robot??) more meals, entertainment, etc to charge more.
This is highly likely not to work in LA, SF, NY, DC, etc, but there are many places where this could be a possibility with the right investors and the capital injection from the FD. Any thoughts? I picture this also helping communities that are being deserted in exchange for places mentioned above.

So, let's say a 100 person unit is created and offers 3 housing units; 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom. Let's say 50 people (20 families?) move from Boston, because housing is too expensive and they have never been able to move before, due to cost and fear of not having economic stability or a job in the cheaper location. 35 of those people moving can receive the FD, the rest are under 18. If they were to effectively move into the housing complex, they would immediately bring the investoowner $35K/month, without taking into account children's cost or possible reduced cost to compete with the housing market. With that, they would bring the city of Akron $420,000/year of economic stimulus. The people would not have to worry about not having a place to live or food to put on the table. With that said, these families would want to be able to furnish their units, entertain themselves, buy school supplies for kids, etc. This would require them to get jobs. My idea is that even if there are no jobs, people would be more willing to venture into business ideas; mini golf, bowling, clubs, art, etc. Let's say people don't want to venture into new businesses, the local McDonalds, dollar stores, etc need people to work minimum jobs. Even at $7.25/hr that buying power is much higher than it would be in Boston. Since there would also likely be more children in the area, you'd have a higher need for teachers and administrators. This is also not taking into account an increase demand for CREATIVITY! People could finally pursue those life long dreams of writing a book, painting, creating digital works and selling those online or giving them away with advertising as a source of income.
That last setup was a bit confusing and not fully developed...but anyone else have thoughts and wants to jump in? Any investors thinking about this? :) This is definitely an idea that I would not mind having stolen!

Both emergent coding and Bitcoin BCH are decentralized: As emergent coding is a decentralized development environment consisting of Agents providing respective design services, each contract received by an agent requires a BCH payment. As Agents are hosted by their developer owners which may be residing in one of 150 countries, Bitcoin Cash - an electronic peer-to-peer electronic cash system - is ideal to include a developer regardless of geographic location.

Townsville Technology Precincts Pty Ltd (TTP) was founded to bring together partners to answer the tender for the Historic North Rail Yard Redevelopment in Townsville, North Queensland. The partners consist of P+I, Conrad Gargett, HF Consulting, and a self-managed superannuation fund(SMSF) with Code Valley Corp Pty Ltd expected to be signed as an anchor tenant. TTP answered a Townsville City Council (TCC) tender with a proposal for a AUD$53m project (stage 1) to turn the yards into a technology park and subsequently won the tender. The plan calls for the bulk of the money is to be raised in the Australian equity markets with the city contributing $28% for remediation of the site and just under 10% from the SMSF. Construction is scheduled to begin in mid 2020 and be competed two years later.
Townsville Mining Pty Ltd was set up to develop a Server Complex in the Kennedy Energy Park in North Queensland. The site has undergone several studies as part of a due diligence process with encouraging results for its competitiveness in terms of real estate, power, cooling and data.
  1. TM are presently in negotiations with the owners of the site and is presently operating under an NDA.

2. What programming language are the "software agents" written in.
Agents are "built" using emergent coding. You select the features you want your Agent to have and send out the contracts. In a few minutes you are in possession of a binary ELF. You run up your ELF on your own machine and it will peer with the emergent coding and Bitcoin Cash networks. Congratulations, your Agent is now ready to accept its first contract.

A license gives you the right to create your own Agents and participate in the decentralized development system. We will publish the EULA when we release the product.
5. What kind of software architecture do these agents have. Daemons Responding to API calls ? Background daemons that make remote connection to listening applications?
Your Agent is a server that requires you to open a couple of ports so as to peer with both EC and BCH networks. If you run a BCH full node you will be familiar with this process. Your Agent will create a "job" for each contract it receives and is designed to operate thousands of jobs simultaneously in various stages of completion. It is your responsibility to manage your Agent and keep it open for business or risk losing market share to another developer capable of designing the same feature in a more reliable manner (or at better cost, less resource usage, faster design time etc.). For example, there is competition at every classification which is one reason emergent coding is on a fast path for improvement.
It is worth reiterating here that Agents are only used in the software design process and do not perform any role in the returned project binary.
6. What is the communication protocol these agents use.
The protocol is proprietary and is part of your license.
7. Are the agents patented? Who can use these agents?
It is up to you if you want to patent your Agent the underlying innovation behind emergent coding is _feasible_ developer specialization. Emergent coding gives you the ability to contribute to a project without revealing your intellectual property thus creating prospects for repeat business; It renders software patents moot.
Who uses your Agents? Your Agents earn you BCH with each design contribution made. It would be wise to have your Agent open for business at all times and encourage everyone to use your design service.
8. Do I need to cooperate with Code Valley company all of the time in order to deploy Emergent Coding on my software projects, or can I do it myself, using documentation?
It is a decentralized system. There is no single point of failure. Code Valley intends to defend the emergent coding ecosystem from abuse and bad actors but that role is not on your critical path.
9. Let's say Electron Cash is an Emergent Coding project. I have found a critical bug in the binary. How do I report this bug, what does Jonald Fyookball need to do, assuming the buggy component is a "shared component" puled from EC "repositories"?
If you built Electron Cash with emergent coding it will have been created by combining several high level wallet features designed into your project by their respective Agents. Obviously behind the scenes there are many more contracts that these Agents will let and so on. For example the Cashbar combines just 16 high level Point-of-Sale features but ultimately results in more than 10,000 contracts in toto. Should one of these 10,000 make a design error, Jonald only sees the high level Agents he contracted. He can easily pinpoint which of these contractors are in breach. Similarly this contractor can easily pinpoint which of its sub-contractors is in breach and so on. The offender that breached their contract wherever in the project they made their contribution, is easily identified. For example, when my truck has a warranty problem, I do not contact the supplier of the faulty big-end bearing, I simply take it back to Mazda who in turn will locate the fault.
Finally "...assuming the buggy component is a 'shared component' puled from EC 'repositories'?" - There are no repositories or "shared component" in emergent coding.
10. What is your licensing/pricing model? Per project? Per developer? Per machine?
Your Agent charges for each design contribution it makes (ie per contract). The exact fee is up to you. The resulting software produced by EC is unencumbered. Code Valley's pricing model consists of a seat license but while we are still determining the exact policy, we feel the "Valley" (where Agents advertise their wares) should charge a small fee to help prevent gaming the catalogue and a transaction fee to provide an income in proportion to operations.
11. What is the basic set of applications I need in order to deploy full Emergent Coding in my software project? What is the function of each application? Daemons, clients, APIs, Frontends, GUIs, Operating systems, Databases, NoSQLs? A lot of details, please.
There's just one. You buy a license and are issued with our product called Pilot. You run Pilot (node) up on your machine and it will peer with the EC and BCH networks. You connect your browser to Pilot typically via localhost and you're in business. You can build software (including special kinds of software like Agents) by simply combining available features. Pilot allows you to specify the desired features and will manage the contracts and decentralized build process. It also gives you access to the "Valley" which is a decentralized advertising site that contains all the "business cards" of each Agent in the community, classified into categories for easy search.
If we are to make a step change in software design, inventing yet another HLL will not cut it. As Fred Brooks puts it, an essential change is needed.
12. How can I trust a binary when I can not see the source?
The Emergent Coding development model is very different to what you are use to. There are ways of arriving at a binary without Source code.
The Agents in emergent coding design their feature into your project without writing code. We can see the features we select but can not demonstrate the source as the design process doesn't use a HLL.
The trust model is also different. The bulk of the testing happens _before_ the project is designed not _after_. Emergent Coding produces a binary with very high integrity and arguably far more testing is done in emergent coding than in incumbent methods you are used to.
In emergent coding, your reputation is built upon the performance of your Agent.
If your Agent produces substandard features, you are simply creating an opportunity for a competitor to increase their market share at your expense.
Here are some points worth noting regarding bad actor Agents:
  1. An Agent is a specialist and in emergent coding is unaware of the project they are contributing to. If you are a bad actor, do you compromise every contract you receive? Some? None?
  2. Your client is relying on the quality of your contribution to maintain their own reputation. Long before any client will trust your contributions, they will have tested you to ensure the quality is at their required level. You have to be at the top of your game in your classification to even win business. This isn't some shmuck pulling your routine from a library.
  3. Each contract to your agent is provisioned. Ie you advertise in advance what collaborations you require to complete your design. There is no opportunity for a "sign a Bitcoin transaction" Agent to be requesting "send an HTTP request" collaborations.
  4. Your Agent never gets to modify code, it makes a design contribution rather than a code contribution. There is no opportunity to inject anything as the mechanism that causes the code to emerge is a higher order complexity of all Agent involvement.
  5. There is near perfect accountability in emergent coding. You are being contracted and paid to do the design. Every project you compromise has an arrow pointed straight at you should it be detected even years later.
Security is a whole other ball game in emergent coding and current rules do not necessarily apply.
13. Every time someone rebuilds their application, do they have to pay over again for all "design contributions"? (Or is the ability to license components at fixed single price for at least a limited period or even perpetually, supported by the construction (agent) process?)
You are paying for the design. Every time you build (or rebuild) an application, you pay the developers involved. They do not know they are "rebuilding". This sounds dire but its costs far less than you think and there are many advantages. Automation is very high with emergent coding so software design is completed for a fraction of the cost of incumbent design methods. You could perhaps rebuild many time before matching incumbent methods. Adding features is hard with incumbent methods "..very few late-stage additions are required before the code base transforms from the familiar to a veritable monster of missed schedules, blown budgets and flawed products" (Brooks Jr 1987) whereas with emergent coding adding a late stage feature requires a rebuild and hence seamless integration. With Emergent Coding, you can add an unlimited number of features without risking the codebase as there isn't one.
The second part of your question incorrectly assumes software is created from licensed components rather than created by paying Agents to design features into your project without any licenses involved.
14. In this construction process, is the vendor of a particular "design contribution" able to charge differential rates per their own choosing? e.g. if I wanted to charge a super-low rate to someone from a 3rd world country versus charging slightly more when someone a global multinational corporation wants to license my feature?
Yes. Developers set the price and policy of their Agent's service. The Valley (where your Agent is presently advertised) presently only supports a simple price policy. The second part of your question incorrectly assumes features are encumbered with licenses. A developer can provide their feature without revealing their intellectual property. A client has the right to reuse a developer's feature in another project but will find it uneconomical to do so.
15. Is "entirely free" a supported option during the contract negotiation for a feature?
Yes. You set the price of your Agent.
16. "There is no single point of failure." Right now, it seems one needs to register, license the construction tech etc. Is that going to change to a model where your company is not necessarily in that loop? If not, don't you think that's a single point of failure?
It is a decentralized development system. Once you have registered you become part of a peer-to-peer system. Code Valley has thought long and hard about its role and has chosen the reddit model. It will set some rules for your participation and will detect or remove bad actors. If, in your view, Code Valley becomes a bad actor, you have control over your Agent, private keys and IP, you can leave the system at any time.
17. What if I can't obtain a license because of some or other jurisdictional problem? Are you allowed to license the technology to anywhere in the world or just where your government allows it?
We are planning to operate in all 150 countries. As ec is peer-to-peer, Code Valley does not need to register as a digital currency exchange or the like. Only those countries banning BCH will miss out (until such times as BCH becomes the first global electronic cash system).

19. I asked someone else a question about how it would be possible to verify whether an application (let's say one received a binary executable) has been built with your system of emergent consensus. Is this possible?
Yes of course. If you used ec to build an application, you can sign it and claim anything you like. Your client knows it came from you because of your signature. The design contributions making up the application are not signed but surprisingly there is still perfect accountability (see below).
20. I know it is possible to identify for example all source files and other metadata (like build environment) that went into constructing a binary, by storing this data inside an executable.
All metadata emergent coding is now stored offline. When your Agent completes a job, you have a log of the design agreements you made with your peers etc., as part of the log. If you are challenged at a later date for breaching a design contract, you can pull your logs to see what decisions you made, what sub-contracts were let etc. As every Agent has their own logs, the community as a whole has a completely trustless log of each project undertaken.
21. Is this being done with EC build products and would it allow the recipient to validate that what they've been provided has been built only using "design contributions" cryptographically signed by their providers and nothing else (i.e. no code that somehow crept in that isn't covered by the contracting process)?
The emergent coding trust model is very effective and has been proven in other industries. Remember, your Agent creates a feature in my project by actually combining smaller features contracted from other Agents, thus your reputation is linked to that of your suppliers. If Bosch makes a faulty relay in my Ford, I blame Ford for a faulty car not Bosch when my headlights don't work. Similarly, you must choose and vet your sub-contractors to the level of quality that you yourself want to project. Once these relationships are set up, it becomes virtually impossible for a bad actor to participate in the system for long or even from the get go.

Collaborations at the byte layer of Agents result in designs that spill every intermediate variable.
Firstly, why this is so?
Agents from this early version only support one catch-all variable design when collaborating. Similar to a compiler when all registers contain variables, the compiler must make a decision to spill a register temporarily to main memory. The compiler would still work if it spilled every variable to main memory but would produce code that would be, as above, hopelessly inefficient.
However, by only supporting the catch-all portion of the protocol, the code valley designers were able to design, build and deploy these agents faster because an Agent needs fewer predicates in order to participate in these simpler collaborations.
The protocol involved however, can have many "Policies" besides the catch-all default policy (Agents can collaborate over variables designed to be on the stack, or, as is common for intermediate variables, designed to use a CPU register, and so forth).
This example highlights one of the very exciting aspects of emergent coding. If we now add a handful of additional predicates to a handful of these byte layer agents, henceforth ALL project binaries will be 10x smaller and 10x faster.
Finally, there can be many Agents competing for market share at each of classification. If these "gumby" agents do not improve, you can create a "smarter" competitor (ie with more predicates) and win business away from them. Candy from a baby. Competition means the smartest agents bubble to the top of every classification and puts the entire emergent coding platform on a fast path for improvement. Contrast this with incumbent libraries which does not have a financial incentive to improve. Just wait until you get to see our production system.
23. How hard can an ADD Agent be?
Typically an Agent's feature is created by combining smaller features from other Agents. The smallest features are so devoid of context and complexity they can be rendered by designing a handful of bytes in the project binary. Below is a description of one of these "byte" layer Agents to give you an idea how they work.
An "Addition" Agent creates the feature of "adding two numbers" in your project (This is an actual Agent). That is, it contributes to the project design a feature such that when the project binary is delivered, there will be an addition instruction somewhere in it that was designed by the contract that was let to this Agent.
If you were this Agent, for each contract you received, you would need to collaborate with peers in the project to resolve vital requirements before you can proceed to design your binary "instruction".
Each paid contract your Agent receives will need to participate in at least 4 collaborations within the design project. These are:
  1. Input A collaboration
  2. Input B collaboration
  3. Result collaboration
  4. Construction site collaboration
You can see from the collaborations involved how your Agent can determine the precise details needed to design its instruction. As part of the contract, the Addition Agent will be provisioned with contact details so it can join these collaborations. Your Agent must collaborate with other stakeholders in each collaboration to resolve that requirement. In this case, how a variable will be treated. The stakeholders use a protocol to arrive at an Agreement and share the terms of the agreement. For example, the stakeholders of collaboration “Input A” may agree to treat the variable as an signed 64bit integer, resolve to locate it at location 0x4fff2, or alternatively agree that the RBX register should be used, or agree to use one of the many other ways a variable can be represented. Once each collaboration has reached an agreement and the terms of that agreement distributed, your Agent can begin to design the binary instruction. The construction site collaboration is where you will exactly place your binary bytes.
The construction site protocol is detailed in the whitepaper and is some of the magic that allows the decentralized development system to deliver the project binary. The protocol consists of 3 steps,
  1. You request space in the project binary be reserved.
  2. You are notified of the physical address of your requested space.
  3. You delver the the binary bytes you designed to fill the reserved space.
Once the bytes are returned your Agent can remove the job from its work schedule. Job done, payment received, another happy customer with a shiny ADD instruction designed into their project binary.
Note:
  1. Observe how it is impossible for this ADD Agent to install a backdoor undetected by the client.
  2. Observe how the Agent isn’t linking a module, or using a HLL to express the binary instruction.
  3. Observe how with just a handful of predicates you have a working "Addition" Agent capable of designing the Addition Feature into a project with a wide range of collaboration agreements.
  4. Observe how this Agent could conceivably not even design-in an ADD instruction if one of the design time collaboration agreements was a literal "1" (It would design in an increment instruction). There is even a case where this Agent may not deliver any binary to build its feature into your project!
24. How does EC arrive at a project binary without writing source code?
Devs using EC combine features to create solutions. They don't write code. EC devs contract Agents which design the desired features into their project for a fee. Emergent coding uses a domain specific contracting language (called pilot) to describe the necessary contracts. Pilot is not a general purpose language. As agents create their features by similarly combining smaller features contracted from peer, your desired features may inadvertently result in thousands of contracts. As it is agents all the way down, there is no source code to create the project binary.
Traditional: Software requirements -> write code -> compile -> project binary (ELF).
Emergent coding: Select desired features -> contract agents -> project binary (ELF).
Agents themselves are created the same way - specify the features you want your agent to have, contract the necessary agents for those features and viola - agent project binary (ELF).
25. How does the actual binary code that agents deliver to each other is written?
An agent never touches code. With emergent coding, agents contribute features to a project, and leave the project binary to emerge as the higher-order complexity of their collective effort. Typically, agents “contribute” their feature by causing smaller features to be contributed by peers, who in turn, do likewise. By mapping features to smaller features delivered by these peers, agents ensure their feature is delivered to the project without themselves making a direct code contribution.
Peer connections established by these mappings serve to both incrementally extend a temporary project “scaffold” and defer the need to render a feature as a code contribution. At the periphery of the scaffold, features are so simple they can be rendered as a binary fragment with these binary fragments using the information embodied by the scaffold to guide the concatenation back along the scaffold to emerge as the project binary - hence the term Emergent Coding.
Note the scaffold forms a temporary tree-like structure which allows virtually all the project design contracts to be completed in parallel. The scaffold also automatically limits an agent's scope to precisely the resources and site for their feature. It is why it is virtually impossible for an agent to install a "back door" or other malicious code into the project binary.

Proposed method to email crypto-coins directly.

Below are some ideas I have been working on to allow direct off-blockchain transfer of Bitcoin Private Keys while preventing Double-Spend and Counterfeiting . There is a reference to tamper-proof Physical Bitcoin as DA BOMB- Directly Available Bitcoin On Metal Banknotes. These Physical Bitcoins and their digitally encrypted representations are the basis for off-blockchain exchange of value. Off-Blockchain exchanges are completely private and as fast as sending an email.

FAST BITCOIN

Daily settlement between corporations, instant settlement on trading or funded shopping channels, physical bitcoin possession for investors .
Each platform which offers FAST BITCOIN will purchase a large amount of DA BOMB to power their digital envelope re-sale network. All networks will be compatible and fungible assets composed of.
When a customer places an order for DA BOMB I load a certain amount of BTC in various denominations onto a selection of bitcoin wallets, which are then manufactured as physical bitcoin.
This amount of BTC is the amount this customer can spend on the FAST BITCOIN network.
The Bitcoin the customer spends never moves on the BTC Blockchain.
The envelope containing the customer’s BTC is credited or debited a certain combination of addresses that contain a known amount of BTC, adding up to the exact amount of the transaction.

The Master System Key resides on the Cold Wallet and can’t be viewed without destroying the function of the Hardware Wallet.
To send bitcoin to a person on the network, the hardware wallet takes the addresses needed to add up to the desired amount and encrypts them with the PUBLIC KEY of the receiving device.
The BITCOIN CASH BLOCKCHAIN is used as a KEY SERVER to store the PUBLIC KEY of every device manufactured, linked to its registration number and owner identity. The OWNER IDENTITY is an EMAIL ADDRESS which is [[email protected]_BITCOIN.COM](mailto:[email protected]_bitcoin.com) .
The addresses are encrypted by the SYSTEM MASTER KEY , then by the RECIPIENT PUBLIC KEY and emailed to the above email address.
The whole network is sustained by a peer-to-peer email remailer network. Software on the machine used by the hardware device to connect to the INTERNET is designed to run a peer-to-peer email remailer node.
As well as sending the recipient an email via the re-mailer network, an entry is made on the BITCOIN CASH BLOCKCHAIN containing the double encrypted bitcoin private keys, recipient email address, and transaction identifier . This also contains the device registration number as part of the owner email address.
Thus even if the domain is blocked from sending email the information needed to use the bitcoin is available from the data stored on the BITCOIN CASH BLOCKCHAIN.
The value of Bitcoin Cash does not impact the cost of sending bitcoin, since the transaction sizes to record data on its blockchain are very small.

When FAST BITCOIN is sent to a recipient, he must plug his hardware device into a laptop, phone, or other internet device to download the keys to the device. At this time while the hardware device is still connected to the internet the just received FAST BITCOIN will not yet be available to spend. It will show on the device as STILL ENCRYPTED. The user unplugs the device from the internet and then transfers the amount from the COLD SIDE to the HOT SIDE of his wallet while offline. If he wishes he may leave this amount on the COLD SIDE or transfer up to the entire contents of the SPLIT WALLET to the HOT SIDE to enable immediate spending as soon as connected to the internet.
The COLD SIDE contains the SYSTEM MASTER KEY and decrypts the PRIVATE BITCOIN KEYS in order to enable spending.
The hardware device checks the bitcoin blockchain to verify the amount of bitcoin held by each bitcoin private key, and also checks that the private keys it contains map properly to the public bitcoin keys used to view the balance on the device when it is connected to the internet.

The Bitcoin Wallet is composed of two sets of engraved alpha-numeric and QR codes highlighted by black ink. One set is public and is on the outside of the card. A pull-tab almost exactly like the kind on a soup can is removed from the front of the card to reveal the inner contents . This is the engraving of the private key which is required to spend the BTC. Viewing it or detecting the exact nature of this code is equivalent to ownership of the associated BTC.
The public key on the outside of the card is used to deposit to or send to the card. In normal operations the card would come loaded with a certain amount of BTC.
The cards will be protected by security features and the quality control process during their manufacture.
The cards will be dipped in a coating of compounds to indicate a unique identity for each card, with short lengths of coloured fibres and paint floating on the surface of the clear lacquer compound and creating a unique visual identity. Each card is photographed and the image file uploaded to a database with the blockchain address and item id from manufacture all associated together.
A label is created and affixed to the outside of the card. On it are the blockchain address, photo of the untampered card, and amount of BTC deposited to card.
The private keys are not retained in file form at the manufacturer’s facility, or recorded in any way.
Before the key is deleted from memory and fully erased from all data storage devices, the photo of the engraving of it is compared to the key via character recognition software. When photo verifies as true then key is deleted from memory. Now the card is tracked by my own “in-house” item id, linked in the database to the blockchain address which displays the public key, and the photo file of the card. The card is photographed twice, the photo of the private key is deleted just after verifying the engraving matches the private key. The photo of the exterior of the card showing the paint lines and fibre positions on the card is kept on file. The offline computer takes the photo of the private key, the online computer takes the photo of the card after dipping.
The card is meant to circumvent the horribly high fees associated with using BTC as a payment method. Possession of the card is deemed to be legally equivalent to the ability to spend the associated BTC available via the private key. The nature of the tamper proof and hack proof aspects of the card manufacture lends credence to the continued value of the card as it is passed through consecutive transactions. The fees which would have been normally paid to enable these transactions on the Blockchain, will now have been saved by the people utilizing the physical Bitcoin cards. The Bitcoin transactions on the Blockchain are enabled by paying fees to “bitcoin miners”, who use large amounts of energy and computing power to solve complicated mathematical problems in order to process transactions and also to earn newly created bitcoins, of which there will only ever be 21,000,000. The fees for bitcoin transactions have become so high that paying for an item with bitcoin wouldn’t make sense for anything under $280 or so; and you had better be rich enough not to care about the $30 to $75 fee to buy just about any size purchase.
Instead of this, cold wallets containing small denominations of BTC can be exchanged via strong encryption and sending password and wallet via different delivery modes; or by physical bitcoin wallets.
At any time one may pull the tab on the metal card and reveal the private key, in order to obtain control of the BTC for use in a different cold wallet, or an online wallet. You will now have to pay transaction fees as per your new wallet details.

The card format and manufacturing process is tested to obtain a hack proof product. The private key is not detectable by examination or any technical means without opening the pull-tab. This is essential to prevent theft and fraud. The card can not be opened, viewed , and sealed again.
A card without a label would be suspect, a card which had been opened and re-sealed obvious. Checking the blockchain address reveals the status of the BTC in question in any event.
The manufacturing process is outlined below:

The engraving is deep enough to be permanent but still not detected while wallet card is in closed position. The alpha-numeric and QR code versions of the keys are engraved and inked.
After the engraving, the private key is deleted from memory of the engraving controlling computer. This computer is never connected to the internet. Only verified software is used on this computer.
A separate computer controls the camera, label maker, and database connection to the internet.

The same file is used to generate the labels.
Addresses are checked for BTC before coin Cards are offered for sale. A second stamp is placed on label when transaction confirms.
Coin is offered for sale at Amazon.com if allowed.
Coins can be exchanged as if fiat currency, with full confidence in BTC amount displayed on seal.
Sale price on Amazon will reflect BTC amount cost when loaded- possibly a great deal if BTC has gone up since loading, or actual cost of production plus 2%, plus miner fee and distribution fee.
Savings could be significant if BTC surges in value after coins are minted. coins are bought at time of minting by purchases of BTC at market price.

Demand for product is assured, as the value once for sale at Amazon increases over time. You will not be able to find cheaper bitcoin anywhere, sometimes. Product must always ship in perfect condition, as customer can only return intact card for full refund, no opened, missing or tampered with cards will be credited to customer for refund, and this will be part of the agreement with the customer at time of purchase. Before refund the balance of the card must match the denomination on the label.

The Tangle Technology deploys a mathematical concept called Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAG) which resolves both the scalability and transaction fees issues which we face in blockchain based cryptocurrencies.
In IOTA, for a transaction to be valid, each node present in DAG Tangle must approve the previous two transactions occurring at the other node. And adding to a note, this process removes the chances of mining and makes the system fully decentralized.
Future Potential Keeping in mind the remarkable result of IOTA, there exists a promising scope for it in the near future in various applications and platforms. IOTA would be standing tall and different in the future world full of cryptocurrencies vulnerable to quantum computers. IOTA has a lot of companies that it is working with. Broad Overview: ICON is a South Korean based company that develops blockchain technology and accompanies the cryptocurrency called ‘ICX’. ICON is a network framework which has been designed to allow independent blockchains to interact with each other. It allows interconnected blockchain networks to participate in a decentralized system which converges at a central point.
Technology: ICX token is built on the Ethereum blockchain network. ICON has developed a loop-chain platform that connects different blockchain communities through the ICON Republic which serves as the governing head for the Federation of other independent blockchain bodies.
All the communities are linked to Republic through C-Reps (Community Representatives) which then connects to Nexus. C-Reps functions as the portals to the communities to establish a connection with Nexus. And this way the entire procedure is carried out.
Future Scope: It is believed that ICON has plans to provide platforms to financial, security, insurance, healthcare, educational industries which can help them to carry transactions on a single network. Thus, ICON (ICX) can be seen having a good time in the coming days.
Also, it has been successful in signing a partnership deal with the tech-giant Samsung where it will be using ICON’s own Chain ID for a new Samsung project called ‘Samsung Pass’. Apart from Samsung, ICON has also signed deals with PORTAL NETWORK & W Foundation.
However, it is notable that ICON is built on the Ethereum network and is an ERC20 token. Hence, the transaction speed greatly depends on the Ethereum network. Currently, Ethereum can execute 15 transactions per second which is quite low in terms of what ICON (ICX) is currently aiming for. However, to fill this gap, we have Kinesis Bespoke Technology that offers a whopping speed of 3000 transactions per second. This lightning fast speed keeps the Kinesis token way ahead than ICX token.
Enjin
Broad Overview The native cryptocurrency of the Enjin Network, the Enjin Coin (popularly known as only ENJ) follows the ERC20 token standard and is used with a smart contract-based blockchain platform. However, it is still a relatively new project. As such, it is still volatile. This means that you still have to take utmost care and be wise when using it.
EOS
Broad Overview EOS is considered by many people who are participating in the virtual goods market as one of the best cryptocurrencies to use, supported by a powerful infrastructure for decentralized applications. Basically, the EOS blockchain is used for the development, execution, and hosting of decentralized applications (dApps) that are traded virtually.

It is said to be able to support thousands of commercial-scale dApps without hitting performance bottlenecks by using asynchronous communication methodologies and parallel execution across its network.
Conclusion The EOS system is very advanced. It is designed to address common problems with standard blockchain-based networks. But like other new cryptocurrency platforms on the virtual market today, it still has some weak points to improve. Also, there is again the exposure to volatility, as users hold the tokens to be eligible to trade virtually.
Nebulas
Broad overview Nebulas (NAS) is a new generation blockchain and is open for public collaborations for decentralized application (dApp) development. Its adaptability and scalability are the two characteristics that could propel NAS to be one of the top cryptocurrencies, thus giving it enough leverage to compete in the market.
Technology behind Nebulas Nebulas is the first crypto running on a 3rd generation blockchain, thus making it the dominant player of the new platform. This makes Nebulas highly flexible and scalable, even giving a good leverage in future-proofing their code. That could help avoid hard forking whenever some issues come up during scaling processes.
Summary of potential Adaptability, scalability and search-ability are three of the biggest potential NAS has to offer. With the 3rd generation blockchain it uses, it can allow the adaption of other codes based from Nebulas. This means that other cryptos can adapt to its platform soon enough.
Moreover, it can also act as a blockchain search engine. This can let users search particular blockchains based on efficiency and community strength.
Finally, its goal to provide fair incentives to Decentralized Application (dApp) developers is something that collaborators could expect. This means that more developers are expected to come, thus strengthening NAS even further.
Conclusion Nebulas (NAS) is a promising crypto especially with its adaptability, scalability and search-ability potentials. It can help with the fluidity of crypto into this new generation platform. However, it still lacks the value stability that Kinesis or stablecoins hold. NAS is still unpredictable, unlike Kinesis that backs it value with real gold.
Sky
Broad overview SkyCoin is a full environment system of blockchain technology, and has the goal of endorsing the actual usage of cryptocurrency.
Technology behind Sky Sky has its own algorithm, the Obelisk, which uses the web of trust dynamics to spread influence all throughout the network to come up with a consensus decision. The consensus decision depends on each node, by valuing its influence score. The influence score of each node is determined by the number of network nodes connected to it. This depicts the importance of the node to the network.
Aside from the Obelisk, Sky also operates its own cryptocurrency which is SkyCoin, its own ICO platform Fiber, a decentralized social media platform called BBS, and a decentralized messenger called Sky-Messenger.
Summary of potential Sky focuses its potential on being a full ecosystem of blockchain technology that encourages actual usage of crypto. Through its unique algorithm which is the Obelisk and some other dApps associated with it, Sky is a promising crypto technology and could be considered as the most complete one as of today.
Conclusion Sky, SkyCoin and the Obelisk is definitely a massive platform that could be considered as a full ecosystem of crypto and its related technology. Nonetheless, the SkyCoin depends its value on node influence scores, which could change from time to time as well. This makes Kinesis and Stablecoins still a better choice, especially for investors who want clear investments without hassle.

Detailed thoughts/research on ICON. (Updates)

Reposting this with some updates. Originally posted to this sub 3+ months ago when there were fewer than 100 subs. I am more bullish on ICX than ever before and plan on increasing my position via OKEx, possibly doubling my 30 Eth position depending on how low the price drops. Thoughts on price: I don't give a lot of credence to the HitBTC futures but I DO pay attention to the trend they reflect. I've seen many ICOs with futures trading below the ICO price. ICX is currently at a crazy premium. Will ICX trade at >$3 on day 1? I don't think so. But I'm willing to bet good money (and will bet good money) that it will trade well north of $3 within the next few months assuming we don't have another massive market correction. My two cents.
One piece of advice to the ICON team: Pay more attention to this sub than you do to Telegram. Make announcements here. It will get to the Telegram almost instantly while remaining visible (instead of having to "pin" posts on Telegram) and easily searchable in the future. We need this subreddit to grow. Thanks!

It appears many Korean companies take this "conglomerate" approach which has made research a bit tricky. In summary, Dayli Financial Group, Icon Foundation, theloop, Yello Financial Group all the same company.
Furthermore -- Yello Mobile is HUGE. They are one of the largest startups in Korea with a valuation north of $4b. (Source) We're talking about the largest mobile start up in Korea...a start-up that was started by a team that spun off of Kakao, the most popular app in Korea that almost everyone uses (similar to WhatsApp or WeChat in China). Confused yet? Basically, by Korean standards, this is as big as it gets.
Vision
UPDATE: I wanted to throw in something I've heard one of the ICON Council members say many times in interviews on Youtube. They view blockchain networks akin to cellular networks. There will be many of them, they will be regulated, and there will be incredibly successful regional networks in addition to international networks. ICON is the first blockchain network in Korea focusing on pulling that country towards blockchain adoption (see article linked at the bottom of this post). They're setting up dozens of partnerships and side chains that they're building themselves for clients with the goal of connecting the entire ecosystem using ICX. This is a BIG vision that, in my opinion, makes a ton of sense. ICON isn't just saying, "Here's our network, come use it" -- they're signing up industries and those industries are paying up for their own blockchain networks that will become part of the ICON ecosystem. We haven't really seen something this "professionalized" in crypto yet, besides perhaps Ripple.

Why I Am Holding LoMoCoin (LMC) (LoMoStar)

There are so many things I want to say about LoMoCoin/LoMoStar that I'm not sure if I'll be able to cover everything in one post.. Well, unless you want to read 20 pages.. Let's just see where this article takes us and go from there.. In order to understand why LoMoCoin is undervalued you must understand the market it's targeting.. In fact this is a difficult post to write because there is so much to cover, but I will do my best..
'Incentivized shopping' is a big deal in Asia.. In China, if you wanted a coupon for Burger King you simply open WeChat, follow burger king and within seconds you have access to coupons. This has been so ingrained in society that nearly every reputable business now has a WeChat account. On top of that, many businesses offer VIP cards or VIP memberships which gives you additional deals on your future visits.. When it comes to offline shopping, the creative battle to get people in the door is becoming ever more prevalent.
To see how LoMoCoin plays in the big picture we'll start with explaining the LoMoCoin (LMC) Blockchain and then we will follow up with the primary application, LoMoStar (the star of the show). In the end I hope those who read this can understand the scale of this project and don't under-estimate what we're dealing with here. In my opinion this asset has been undervalued for far too long and I believe its presence will be well known in the future.
About LoMoCoin (LMC)
"The built-in LoMoCoin (LMC) of LoMoStar is similar to Bitcoin, which is a cryptocurrency with real value based on our own blockchain technology. Compared with traditional cryptocurrencies, LMC inherits the advantages of the related currencies which includes that the total amount is limited and cannot be over-issued."
LoMoCoin is it's own blockchain and the consensus mechanism is Proof of Stake (PoS). Instead of a fixed interest rate like most currencies, LMC uses the coin age as a means to take part in the consensus process. The LMC blockchain supports cold staking. Functions such as a single private key address and multi-sig address are supported. It is also mentioned in the whitepaper that smart contracts will be integrated in the near future.
Now I know this stuff may sound like technical mumbo jumbo to you, but its important to know and well get to the more exciting stuff soon here.. In the meantime let's look at the LMC Blockchain.
The LMC Blockchain
The LoMoCoin (LMC) blockchain can be divided into 5 levels from a technical point of view.. (See whitepaper for full details.)
So think of it like LoMoCoin is the decentralized framework for the LoMoStar ecosystem.. (LoMoCoin was rebranded to LoMoStar in v2.0) So now that we have covered the technical details of LoMoCoin (LMC) let's take a look at the LoMoStar app..
What is LoMoStar?
LoMoStar is the main primary application built on the LMC blockchain (available on Android and iOS). When your talking about LoMoStar it's more then just getting discounts at local shops and collecting crypto on a map.. LoMoStar is a vast social ecosystem that evolves around people-to-people, people-to-asset, and people-to-organization (and vice versa). The vision set forward by the CEO 'Xiong Lijian' has been overlooked by nearly every investor.. (I say nearly because there's only a handful of people who actually research with an optimistic outlook on blockchain technology long term..) So before I begin, I would like to applaud the CEO Xiong Lijian for taking on a massive project which I believe will turn many people's dreams into a reality.
LoMoStar - Social Events Platform with Cryptocurrency
"LoMoStar will integrate ones geographical position with its virtual environment and will use cryptocurrencies as its social medium to introduce new forms of relationships with one another. Also, by allowing for global (group) interactions, LoMoStar will facilitate international social relationships. In addition, people can develop business relationships at LoMoStar to enhance the influence of individuals, increase brand awareness, and/or improve business development."
For example, in the LoMoStar app, I can geographically drop a red envelope that contains any cryptocurrency. Before I drop red envelopes I could include an image and a short message. Anyone who opens this red envelope will be rewarded with cryptocurrency and will automatically join my group. (You can quit a group after 48 hours).
Red Envelopes
"Airdrops of red envelopes, which contain cryptocurrencies, can be organized at certain geographical locations that have a sufficient density of users, for instance cities or popular public locations. Additionally, automated trading between users and investment opportunities will become available and people can use LoMoStar to perform many social related activities, such as marketing activities, group-related activities, organizing events, participating in treasure hunts, digital investments, and more. All these features enable LoMoStar to become a unique social and economic platform. The establishment of these social relationships and global interactions can fulfill both individual, group and corporate interests and desires, forming a win-win or multi-win situation."
For example, let's say there is a sporting event like the Super Bowl where a large gathering of people will attend. A corporation could Airdrop red envelopes specifically to this geographical location for sports fans to pick up. Or let's say a local festival wants more attendance they can arrange an airdrop at the festivals location. You can pretty much target any area that contains a sufficient density of users.
Users will use their own ingenuity to create new forms of social entertainment. (As outlined below in the whitepaper)
Peer-to-peer Cryptocurrency Trading
" LoMoStar supports using any cryptocurrency to conduct trading, whether it is for physical goods, services or digital assets. LoMoStars underlying technology will therefore enable peer-to-peer trading with one another."
The plan is to support any cryptocurrency to exchange for physical goods, services or digital assets. (LoMoStar hand selects and reviews each supported coin.) In addition LoMoStar allows messaging between users and groups with the ability to send/drop red envelopes.
Digital assets based on Location-based System (LBS)
"Through LoMoStar, people can also invest in many real-world businesses on certain geographical locations, such as retail, real estate, attractions, and more. LoMoStar will allow users to utilize cryptocurrency for investing in retail, real estate, attractions and other various immovable properties in order to gain profits."
This is a very ambitious vision and I like it... The thought of being able to invest in real-world businesses and assets using crypto is music to my ears. Let's look into this a little more and highlight some things from the whitepaper..
"By connecting users to each other in the virtual world and then to assets in the real world, LoMoStar creates a novel setting where unpredictable social and economic relationships can spontaneously flourish within user-created scenarios. This will promote the use of cryptocurrencies in the real world and allow completely new ecological models and scenarios to emerge."
Here is an example noted from the white paper.
"Taking the vending machines as an example, which is one of the most common automatic trading devices, the holder can divide the income rights of a predetermined period and then launch the installation address of the device on the LoMoStar map. The (1) the product service description, (2) investment price of the income rights after division, (3) income distribution overview, and (4) other related information will then also be given. There are other types of devices that work similarly as a vending machine (e.g. self- service photo machine, self-service massage chair, and/or a doll machine) that can be used as a similar example. If LoMoStar users are interested, they can use cryptocurrency to invest and purchase the rights of these devices on the virtual map and thereby allow the possibility to generate an income from their (virtual) investments."
So now you can see, LoMoStar is not 'Just a game where you pick up cryptocurrency on a map'. LoMoStar aims to promote the use of cryptocurrency in the real world by acting as a bridge connecting the two worlds - ultimately revealing the true value of cryptocurrency.
Functional Level of LoMoStar
"LoMoStar will also allow ICO's to integrate new blockchain projects. Only cryptocurrencies and projects with high investment value will be made available to our users."

When we look at the team, it is truly an impressive force that delivers results. Building a new social ecosystem requires engineers in all fronts. From developing blockchain technology to F5 Lab to the LoMoStar app for android and ios. Let's also not forget xStar.io the Digital Assets Exchange aimed to strengthen the LoMoStar ecosystem. The team is building all the essential components needed to improve asset liquidity and long-term asset stability.. the bottom line here is.. the team is quite large and well organized.
Last year in an interview with the LoMoStar CEO Xiong Lijian, he mentioned they had more than 30 people on the team.
"LoMoCoin’s core team has been working together since 2013 and has experienced the mining and trading of Bitcoin and Litecoin in the early days. We are also one of the first teams in China that begun R&D application and development of blockchain technology. At present, there are more than 30 people in our team and we have started to recruit talents all around the globe with the ability to settle in various countries and regions to jointly promote and help develop LoMoCoin."
Today they now have over 70 employees (so I hear) and are expecting to exceed 100 employees in the near future. Now since we are looking at the team, let's take a look at a few questions and answers from some interviews. (Interview links are posted in references.)
Interview Q&A from Xiong Lijian (CEO) / Taoji Zou (Chief Marketing Officer)
What kind of advantages will LMC have within the application in comparison to BTC/ETH/LTC, etc.? This is still unclear.
This can, for instance, be when ICO projects are promoted and only LMC holders will be able to participate. More than 10 projects have recently already discovered the value of LoMoStar and hope to promote and even accept LMC as an investment. We choose projects very selectively and they are still under review.
Can you tell us how XStar will help with the growth of LMC?
XStar is a trading platform that I and some other friends in the Chinese community have set up, not only to provide liquidity to LMC, but also because we are optimistic about the future of the blockchain industry. LoMoStar and XStar will be mutually reinforcing each other. Moreover, XStar is a trading platform that will provide a different and larger trading experience, which is not exactly the same as that of LoMoStar. This is what we have discovered in the Chinese market. Also, from a perspective of marketing theory, different needs of user groups can be mutually relocated. Therefore, LoMoStar and XStar may adopt different approaches and strategies when they are promoted in various countries. In any case, if LoMoStar first enters a country, it can help XStar; if XStar first enters a country, likewise, it can in turn help LoMoStar.
Do you think your marketing budget is enough to cover all your future plans (e.g. exchange costs, hiring foreign specialists etc.)?
Our company has a healthy financial position and we are fairly certain that it is enough to support our marketing efforts. We will also use our budget to participate in conferences and events all around the globe.
Are you going to integrate Augmented Reality (AR) features? And if so, does the current app functionality allow for it?
We have a well connected partner that we have a good relationship with, as their founder used to develop mining machines with our CEO. This enterprise is experienced in developing chips and advanced AR techniques. In the future, sooner or later, AR will be adopted in any location-based system (LBS) application. Inside our firm we are always talking about AR and we believe that when the AR techniques and implementation possibilities get improved we will certainly adopt it in LoMoStar.
How will you protect LoMoCoin (LMC) investors and increase the interest of using LMC inside of the app, since you have also added other currencies such as Ethereum and Bitcoin?
A key feature of a currency is security and liquidity, which will also affect LMC. We will add more digital currencies in the future. Global users and transaction volume will be increased this way. Additionally, when you run a club and have a lot of guests invited. There will be social demand for every guest. Nevertheless, you as the host will almost always get prioritized in the long-term by all of these guests.
Can you tell us about the F5 lab? How many full-time employees are there? Is it a subsidary of LoMoStar or is it an independent research lab? What are they working on now?
F5 Labs is a professional technology collaboration, and the technology we develop and share inside is more ‘professional’ and complex than that of the general programmer community. It will be focusing on B2B relationship initially.
How will you ensure exclusivity for LMC within the LoMoStar app? What will ensure the app will use LMC?
There is no doubt that many exclusive features will be implemented in the future within the app where you must use LoMoCoin to complete.
How will iBeacon/IoT be implemented? Will it be implemented onto the LMC chain?
We are very interested and involved in the development of the Internet of Things. Our CEO next week will also visit the Lenovo Group training session as they are looking for solutions that is combining blockchain technology and the Internet of Things. I think everyone may have heard of the Lenovo Group, they acquired IBM personal computer business in the past.
What is your future plan to attract more investments?
From the scope of my responsibility, I am more concerned about the ecological construction of LoMoStar. Overall when it comes to marketing, it is something that money can solve. Moreover, we have always kept in touch with prominent exchanges and we have made some progress here. We will inform you when we are able to confirm more.
